My bank account wasn’t too happy with me, but damn, I couldn’t resist this top with my baby dragon and wolf together for all to see ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ I got it from Fun to See Me and Inspired Rebellion on Etsy, who shipped it out faster than I was anticipating. I’m going to be alternating this tank, with my other jonerys top, so as not to wear them out too quickly…I plan on wearing them for a looooong time (^ω^)
In case anyone is interested in purchasing one of their tops, for size reference the one I’m wearing is a size small, with the hem reaching the tops of my thighs. It’s a tiny bit snug at the bust, but if it’s hard to tell from the pic, it does have a slightly loose fall over the belly, which I like since I can get uncomfortable when tops are a little too tummy hugging.
Anyway jonerys fam, I’m just still in awe that there are even things like this to purchase! I mean, our ship is canon and sailing all the way to white harbor more than likely having epicboatsex the entire way, and talented indivdiuals are creating jonerys merch so we can roll in the feels until next season. Hoping for more merch to come, though I know my wallet is dreading any more etsy purchases ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)

Hot take:
Dany’s, Arya’s, Jon’s, Tyrion’s, Cersei’s and Jaime’s characters, Jonerys, Gendrya, and Braime, Tyrion and Dany’s friendship, Jon and Arya’s close relationship, and a potential friendship between Arya and Dany were assassinated not only because D&D wanted to subvert expectations and move on to Star Wars but also because of their boners for Sansa.
Let me explain:
All the characters I’ve mentioned are all fan favorites and immensely popular characters (especially Dany and Jon). These characters were and still are frequently the subjects of fan discussions, theories, and often have plenty of merch based on them. The pairings and relationships I’ve mentioned are also popular and frequently discussed and theorized among GOT/ASOIAF fans.
Sansa and her individual relationships with Dany, Jon, Arya, etc., in comparison, are nowhere near as popular or discussed. Also, based on my experience on searching for GOT/ASOIAF fan merch, there are very few items featuring or related to her character. Applying the rules of supply and demand, the small number of Sansa-centric merchandise spells out that fans aren’t coming in droves to ask nor buy anything connected to her.
Sansa’s fans are well aware and blatantly bitter that Sansa doesn’t share the same popularity as Arya, Dany, Tyrion and others. They know and hate that she isn’t iconic like Dany or Jon. They’re beyond irritated (and have been so for a long time) that Sansa is underwhelming compared to other characters (especially the ones I’ve mentioned). And last but not least, they recognize and are pissed that most fans aren’t interested in her. That’s why they Flanderize/demonize certain characters in fanworks, frequently steal aspects, characteristics, and storylines from other characters and create theories of Sansa getting dragons, getting Nymeria, and other things: to make her more interesting, to put her on a similar or higher level than Dany, Arya, or Jon, and/or to catch other fans’ attention to make them talk about her.
Benioff and Weiss aren’t that different from these Sansa stans. After all, they took Jeyne Poole’s storyline, Arya’s and Bran’s strong connection to the North and Rickon’s and/or Bran’s potential rulership over the North and gave them to Sansa because they believed that these plotlines and aspects would make “improve” Sansa’s character arc. They dumbed down Tyrion and other characters, and turned Arya into Sansa’s spokesperson to make Sansa look better. So, it isn’t implausible to assume that these two clowns observed fans clamoring for Jon and Dany to marry and have Boat!Baby, Jaime to break free from his toxic relationship with Cersei and settle down with Brienne, etc. and decided to nuke all these popular characters, pairings and relationships to ensure attention isn’t diverted away from Sansa.
If Arya wasn’t turned into a xenophobic and distrustful asshole and was allowed to develop a wonderful friendship with Dany, fans wouldn’t give two shits about Arya’s relationship with Sansa. Fans would be (rightfully) losing their shit over two fan favorite characters becoming friends. On top of that, if Arya, the character who fans see as an accurate judge of character, befriends Dany, that annihilates the Mad Queen!Dany BS storyline and makes Sansa look a petty and shallow asshole (as usual) for mistreating someone who Arya deems as good in her books.
If Jonerys had a happy ending and became King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, or abdicated their claims to the throne and eloped to Essos or whatever or at least, didn’t suffer from the Mad Queen!Dany crap and just dealt with one or both characters getting killed in the battle against NK, would fans (besides hardcore Sansa stans) give a fuck about whatever happened to Sansa? No. They would be talking nonstop about Jon and Dany being the new Aragorn/Arwen, how they both earned their rights to quietly settle down in Essos or wherever after what they went through, or poor Boatie growing up without his/her war hero parents, having huge shoes to fill and being raised by Aunt Missandei, Aunt Arya, Uncle Grey Worm and/or Uncle Tyrion who regale him/her with tales of their parents’ heroics.
I would continue, but I don’t want to make this an extra long post. Point is, if any or all the characters weren’t butchered and happy conclusions for Gendrya, Braime, Jonerys and platonic relationships weren’t tossed aside, fans would have no reason to talk about or care about Sansa. They would be too busy focusing all their energies on Dany, Jon, Jaime, Braime, etc. So, D&D being the desperate Sansa-obsessed “geniuses” that they are, decided to go nuclear and demonized and destroyed Dany, switched Jon and Dany storyline with Jaime and Cersei’s, morphed Jon into a brainless and spineless Ned 2.0, trashed Jaime’s redemption arc, twisted Arya into a cardboard female badass and cynical assassin who knows nothing but praise Sansa and threaten people, and other crap, to make Sansa look good and make fans interested in her.
Funnily enough, these efforts achieved the opposite effect. Fans are more focused on Dany, Jon, Arya, Jaime, Tyrion and others and how they were butchered. Dany is still beloved and is receiving more love than ever. Meanwhile, Sansa is hated more than ever. Only her diehard fans and Stark loyalists are celebrating her becoming QITN while everyone is calling it for the hollow and unearned fanservice that it is.

I always thought that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen would be the next Arwen and Aragon. Everyone who was never Jonerys or say that they don’t care for some romance is so full of shit. As tacky as it is everyone likes romance especially in a fantasy universe.
D&D could have had Jon and Daenerys together till the end and it would go down in history up there with Arwen and Aragon. Clearly they missed out on such an opportunity. To have two heroes come together. They didn’t have to follow GRRM ideal ending they could have done it different.
The season finale left me feeling nothing but disappointment. It was so shitty and cringy to watch. The saddest part is the fans who spent money on merchandise, DVD box sets, and HBO subscriptions people who invested a lot of money into this show and fandom was really let down.
I was not happy for how any of the character turned out. It was such a lose/lose all across the board. This show left with more questions then answers.

Well, then...
LMAO. I knew the shitty ridiculous leaks were true, but it feels like a gut punch still to get confirmation.
As I said in my last post/s, NO, there was not foreshadowing of this being the outcome. Daenerys was never mad. She never went after actual innocents. To change this up for some “cool twist” is absolutely fucking disgusting and really, really sad. A sad message about women in power, and a blow to all women who loved Daenerys.
Oh, and thanks for all the red herring pregnancy stuff last season D&D. Yeah, it was really great for a man to question a womans ability to have children only for it to lead to absolute nothing. To make her upset about the fact for no reason. And this is on top of the foreshadowing that Daenerys could change the world that meant nothing to them. Or rather was used against the women in the audience.
And what the fuck was up with them continually saying Daenerys wasn’t mad like her father if they wanted this? If this is where they were going?
I’m just so sad that I came to care so much for this show and these characters. That I spent the 18 months between s7 and 8 being obsessed with the show and really excited for it. I knew Daenerys might die (didn’t really believe it), but I could never have imagined that they would make it THE WORST POSSIBLE ENDING FOR THE SHOW I COULD NEVER HAVE EVEN IMAGINED. Like.. I am never going to be able to watch anything from the show again. Never be able to look at jonerys fondly. Maybe I’ll remember Daenerys fondly. (probably)
And I’ll spit at the show any time I see anything about it. As it is I’m thinking about what to do with my merchandise. Sell it.. trash it.. burn it?!!

If you ask me, literally the only reason Sansa stans (I will not call them Jon stans because they absolutely destroy Jon's character with their misogynistic "theories") are so convinced that Jonsa is endgame is to cover their desperation. Like, it's so strikingly obvious that Jonsa is not happening. It's practically being slapped in our faces that Jonerys is canon and Jon and Sansa see each other as s i b l i n g s.
I don’t even know what to comment because yeah. Where does Jonsa even come from? Scenes like “the forehead kiss” are things that could look romantic if Jon and Sansa weren’t siblings. But they are. Context is important. Forehead kisses can be romantic, but not all forehead kisses are. And that goes for all the scenes that the Jonsas say that “prove” that Jon and Sansa are in love. Complimenting your sister’s dress or taking your brother’s hand are all normal actions between siblings. If I didn’t know that they were siblings, if I didn’t know the context of those scenes, I might think that there could be something romantic, but the context makes it clear that it’s not romantic at all. But I don’t think Jonsas are very good at understanding context. The hate against Dany proves that.
There’s no doubt that Jonerys is endgame. Dany has prophecies that say she’ll marry Jon (blue flower, bride of fire), Jon and Dany have a love theme (and all of the analysis of this love theme point to a positive resolution), they have tons of parallels, Dany is probably pregnant, and all the promos, merchandises and interviews are positive towards Jonerys. So the Jonsas are getting desperate. That’s why we are seeing this flood of anti content in Dany’s tag.
I’m not even someone that is against Jonsa. I’m a Jonerys shipper, but first I’m a Daenerys fan, so the only thing I want for the endgame is for Dany to rule. If Jonsa happened, but Dany ruled Westeros in the end, I would be ok with it. But it’s not happening. It doesn’t make sense. And I think what really turns people against Jonsa isn’t the ship itself, but the hate and character assassination against Dany and Jon. Instead of accepting their ship as the crackship it is, they have to spread hate and misogyny. And some of these people even have the audacity to call themselves “feminists”.

Just for Fun: A Reading with the Game of Thrones Tarot Deck
Hey, everyone! Since I’ve been in my post-Con ofThrones high and really excited about the series again I decided to pick up the official GoT tarot deck to check out. I was particularly interested in the deck because the accompanying guidebook explains why each character’s artwork was chosen for each card, and as it is official HBO merchandise, we can consider these character interpretations “canon.” Before I discuss individual cards, though, I decided to try a reading for fun. I used one of the recommended formations in the book, focusing on a central question or idea for a prediction. Specifically, I focused on the ending of the series. I’m not very superstitious but I thought this could be interesting anyway!
I used the “Old Gods” spread for my reading, which required the drawing of five cards, each of which would have a specific meaning for the reading/prediction. I used only the major arcana to draw from, cards 0-XXI. I also chose not to shuffle in such a way that cards would be reversed (the guide said this is fine), so I have no reversal interpretations, just upright. Here’s what I got:
1. The Old Gods: What you need to know about a past situation.
For this one, I drew XI, Justice.
As you can see, this card features Ned serving as Hand of the King. Here are some excerpts from the guide:
Key Meanings: Justice, action, decisions, clarity, perception, balance
The card’s number, XI, when expressed as 11 has two numbers of equal value and so is a symbol of balance, equality, and choices.
A decision goes in your favor and you are judged fairly, provided you are deserving. You succeed, also, in tests, interviews, and negotiations. Past mistakes or arguments are laid to rest; in all matters, you act according to your conscience and for the higher good. The card also signifies improved finances, support, and good advice. The spiritual aspects of the card see you connected with divine guidance.
Additional Meanings: Signing contracts
I bolded parts of particular interest to me. I did this reading thinking of the ending of the series, and as a primarily Jonerys blog, a “good” ending for me would involve amity between Jon and Dany and peace for the realm as a result of their actions. Since the first card, which wound up being Justice in my particular reading, deals with important matters of the past, I take this to mean the “past” events unfolding in season 7--the successful alliance between Jon and Dany, culminating in a balance of power between them. Dany surrendered her own power to Jon’s cause willingly in 7.06 and vowed to fight for him before he even swore allegiance to her. At the same time, Jon readily swore fealty and declared her his queen. This equality of feeling, in which both parties were ready to submit to the other, to me fits the “balance,” successful “negotiations,” and solidifying of a “contract” between Jon and Dany. They stand on equal ground in their alliance and are on the same page. At the same time, they have finally “judged” one another “fairly,” and Jon has ruled that Dany is deserving of his fealty and the North’s loyalty. As past events, these would obviously be key factors in the unfolding of season 8 and the end of the story!
2. The weirwood: What strengthens you? What past experiences and knowledge will help you endure?
I drew I, The Magician, for the weirwood.
This card features Littlefinger, with various symbols of his power in the background.
According to the book, The Magician is an intriguing card.
Key Meanings: Success, willpower, messages, manifesting, inspiration, diplomacy
Action, ideas, and energy abound. It’s time for inventiveness, expansive thinking, and new directions, so the card often comes up to show new work, relationships, business start-ups, and other creative ventures. At the spiritual level, you connect with your higher self, or true purpose. If you’re waiting for news, the card tells you that you will soon have the information you need.
Additional Meanings: Significant journeys, moving home
If we connect these ideas to the meaning of the weirwood card drawn, this is encouraging as an outlook for the next parts of the story. The weirwood is about “what gives you strength.” From the start, the appearance of The Magician here is telling--”diplomacy” between Team Dragonstone and the North provides strength. “New directions” politically and “new relationships” like that between Jon and Dany are what drive success. We can see both characters finding their “true sel[ves],” as Dany is humbled by the loss of Viserion, turning her focus toward saving others instead of continuing her conquest. Jon, likewise, finds his place at Dany’s side rather than the uncomfortable burden of leading the North amidst great conflict. As for receiving “news” and “information,” I see this as a nod to the reveal of a Targaryen baby, solidifying Jon and Dany as family and giving them strength and motivation to win the war. Lastly, the additional meaning of “home” is something that would resonate deeply with both characters as both have been without a definite sense of place, home, or family up unto this point.
3. The Children of the Forest: What do you need to watch over? What needs attention or protection?
Here I drew XVIII, The Moon.
This card depicts the Moon Door from the Eyrie, and it’s a card with typically negative connotations. Again, I found this very interesting as the card shown for the Children of the Forest position.
Key Meanings: Illusion, the unconscious, mystery, deception, uncertainty, dreams, indecision
The card’s number, XVIII, reduces to nine, the number of tension and realization.
You may feel confused, disappointed, or disillusioned. Emotions run high, and you sense the need for a decision, which feels like a great risk, vulnerable as you are. Ask your intuition to guide you forward and discern what is a real option and what may be fantasy. When you do this, you may discover your true path and the work you were meant to do.
The Children of the Forest position on the spread shows “what needs attention,” and where to place one’s focus or “protection.” The guide’s description of The Moon card ties in perfectly to a possible prediction of Jon’s reaction to the reveal of his Targaryen parentage. I suspect he will feel “uncertainty” and “deception after having lived his whole life under a false identity; this coming after the “mystery” of his parentage being solved for him at last. The guide even specifically uses the term “realization” as a cause of tension. This could leave Jon feeling “confused,” “disillusioned,” and vulnerable” as he is forced to make a “decision.” Will he accept his Targaryen heritage, “discover[ing] [his] true path,” what he was “meant to do?”
4. The heart tree: What you can do now; what you might commit to.
Here, I drew a potentially worrisome card: XX, Judgement.
Judgement depicts the Night King raising wights at Hardhome. But it is not necessarily a negative card.
Key Meanings: The past, second chances, memories, guilt, awakening, the soul
The card’s number, XX, reduces to two, the number associated with opposites and choices.
Judgement often appears in a reading when you are on the brink of change, and with it come memories, dreams of the past, and people reappearing in your life You may decide to give a situation or relationship a second chance, or otherwise review your behavior and see, at a higher level, the life lessons offered. The card also suggests spiritual awakening, mediumship, and connecting with angels and guides. This is a powerful opportunity to make sense of the past.
To me this card might be the most exciting yet, because I see it as a prediction of Jon’s reactions to being a Targaryen. He will be forced to reflect on “the past,” on “memories” of Ned’s protection of his identity, and an “awakening” of his true self as the Targaryen heir. This card is said to appear “on the brink of change”--possibly the new world order in the wake of the Long Night. I think it is reasonable also to expect Jon to brood in moroseness and uncertainty after the reveal of his Targaryen heritage, possibly causing a temporary rift between him and Dany. The Judgement card’s appearance under the heart tree--“what you can commit to”--to me signifies that Jon will “decide to give [the] situation or relationship a second chance,” “review[ing] [his] behavior” when he was doubtful and returning to Dany ready to commit. Like the advice he gave to Theon in 7.07, he is ready to “make sense of the past” and accept this “powerful opportunity” to come into his own as a Targaryen and possibly a husband, father, and king.
5. One with the sight: The answer. The truth.
For the final card, I drew IV, The Emperor.
The Emperor depicts Jon carrying Longclaw. As I said, the guide recommended thinking of a question while drawing cards. For me, the question was, “will the series end in a positive way?” Since the final card in this spread is “the answer,” I think that the answer to my question is “yes!” The Emperor is a positive card, especially regarding endings and a prediction of Jon’s and Dany’s futures.
Key Meanings: The patriarch, authority, protection, support, courage, order, structure
The card’s number, IV, means stability and structure. In numerology, four is linked to a square, as all sides are equal.
The Emperor denotes the father, husband, male partner, or other influential man. In respect to a situation, the card gives a “yes” to questions . . . and it shows that disputes are resolved. The card also signifies support, trust, and order after a period of chaos or uncertainty. As he is paired with III, the Empress, the Emperor can represent a committed relationship.
Additional Meanings: Making the right decision
This card is so perfect for the “one with sight” position, I can hardly believe that it’s what I randomly chose. It foretells, in my opinion, all positive things regarding the question I had in mind: will the series have an ending that I find favorable?
I would love to see Jon ending the series in a position of “authority” and “protection,” providing “order” and “structure” to his family and the realm. I also like that this card means “all sides are equal.” To me this shows equality between Jon and Dany: a situation in which neither takes precedence and the relationship is harmonious. Looking at the ending of the series as a whole, this also bodes well for the various kingdoms of the realm. In season 6 Dany told Yara that the Iron Islands could be an independent kingdom under Yara as queen. Dany told Tyrion in no uncertain terms that other kingdoms could be independent if they asked, so long as they were loyal and abided by her new codes of conduct that forbade raping and pillaging. Keeping this in mind, we can possibly predict a future with no all-powerful Iron Throne, but a network of independent countries sharing equal power and operating in an alliance, much like the United Kingdom or Europe. “Disputes are resolved” after a “period of chaos and uncertainty” during the Long Night. I also think it is significant that the Emperor card is specifically noted to be “paired” with card III, the Empress. This card depicts Dany in the GoT deck, confirming a pairing of these characters in a “committed relationship,” an ending that is the “right decision” for everyone.
Obviously all of this is just for fun. It’s tarot. I don’t put any real faith in it. But it was cool to see how the cards fit so well with each of the five positions in the spread, and I honestly wanted a positive spin after hearing so many doom and gloom theories for Jon and Dany at various panels at the Con. After all, George told us the ending is “bittersweet.” To many, the destruction of the Iron Throne and the lack of an established monarch ruling over all seven kingdoms could be “bitter.” But a reform of that system based on equality would be more in line with Jon’s and Dany’s character development and a “sweet” conclusion for those who do survive the War for the Dawn :) Anyway, I’ll probably make another post examining some of the individual cards and what their character analyses in the guidebook can tell us about them and a prediction for the final season :D
#jonerys#tarot#i don't know what to tag this lmao#i mean it is analysis and meta in a way but i don't want to get dragged for my superstitious ramblings so i'm tossing it at jonerys folks#and hoping for the best =)

It's posible to have a new sigil if dany and jon will really join houses. I think the house stark sigil will remain intact, but its posible to be adopted a new one for dany and jon who could have the new one look like a targaryen sigil, but with 3 heads of wolves and not dragons, posible even going from red and black to white and black. I know this bc there is a old cuture called dacians who happen to have as a sigil, a dragon with a wolf head. I think GRRM got some influence from them too.
Hi there :) While the T-shirts and mousepad with the Stark sigil over the Targaryen sigil works OK as preliminary merchandising, I doubt it’s even close to the final product, were the show to join the two sigils in the series finale. They could simply do the half and half sigil the way Cersei’s kids do, the quartered sigil (divided in four) like Lancel’s, or some form of a sigil that combines the dragon and wolf, similar to the way House Thenn’s sigil is based on Alys Karstark’s sun in winter made out in the Thenn’s bronze.
After looking into the Dacians, I agree with you. That culture seems to have several parallels with this series, particularly with their mythology that connects them to wolves and their belief that they can become wolves. Something based on the Dacian Draco, the dragon with the head of a wolf would fit well as a sigil for Jon or Jonerys.
The dragon with the wolf head is basically what Jon is meant to be, though he firmly identifies as the wolf at this point. I have a hard time thinking that would change at any point. So like the joined Lancaster and York roses becoming the Tudor rose is more strongly tied to the children of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York than it is to either of them as individuals, the joined dragon and wolf, in whatever form that takes, would more accurately fit the child Dany and Jon are likely making in the S7 finale.

Your anon about the jonerys foreshadowing is spot on. When I used to collect GOT merchandise, they would have Tyrion, Dany and Jon together always. And it was also always Dany and Jon together. I have posters, books, and figurines of them packaging Dany with Jon constantly. I always knew something was up. People told me they did that because jonerys were the 2 most popular characters but nope. I believe the higher ups know certain things i.e. D&D, George, etc. Haha
Hey anon,
Oh, I’m with you, I definitely think they were doing it on purpose. Maybe trying to prepare those who don’t like coodies for what was coming. But people can’t say they weren’t warned. They were many times.
I’m sure in part it had to do with the popularity of the characters, those are the three most popular character. But I do think there was an element of trying to create the narrative for these two. And we thank them for it. Now, where is the next Jonerys magazine cover, we are owned one.

Imagine how they could be cashing in on Jonerys merchandise, Queen Dany merchandise, Houses Targaryen and Stark United merchandise, etc, if they hadn't allowed D&D to deliver such a cow pat of an ending.
When season 8 devalues the merch so much, the HBO shop starts selling $10 t-shirts.

Hello Ellie! My name is Ethan. I was zooming around and I found your page and I can see that you are a massive Jonerys person just like me. I always love meeting people who love Jonerys like me! I saw some of your posts and you are really insightful! I just wanted to say hi. Oh and could I ask you a question. On your main page you say that headcanon. Does that mean you’re like me and that S8 is non-canon to you? I call it the fake season. Because honestly, it’s nothing but a fake nightmare.
Hi Ethan! :) Nice to meet you fellow Jonerys fan! Yes, my heart will always belong to Jon and Daenerys, despite all the heartbreak we endured as a fandom *sigh* But we’re lucky to have fic writers, artists, and gif-makers who spend hours and hours of work making beautiful content that are honestly keeping that love alive; so I’m hoping that people keep showing their appreciation and reblog all the things these content creators are posting, or there will be less and less loveliness for all to see 🙏💖
Hehe, as for the “headcanon” thing, when I created this blog, Harmony was my main ship (I love them to this day & I always will), and because we saw something in the narrative that was different than where it ended up--honestly, Harry and Hermione will always be the “ship that should have been” with the way they were written--“Headcanon is the new reality,” was born. My headcanons for Harmony, as well as for any other ship or fandom I found myself falling into, the headcanons myself and others came up with were sometimes better than the reality these show/movie writers were selling.
And it’s the same with Jonerys and S8; in some ways, I will always be scarred by what dumbass 1 and dumbass 2 did to Daenerys, to Jon, to their ship, to Missandei, Grey Worm, Jorah, and so many others. Their narrative was racist, misogynistic, and terribly, terribly written, and I’ll never take their version of events for that final season, and aspects of S7, as canon. The headcanons we have for Jonerys are more in line with their personalities and journeys than dumb&dumber could ever comprehend.
And while it was a nightmare, it’s over, and even though they intended for Daenerys to become infamous, her name sullied, she’s living in antis minds rent free and revealing all their racist opinions in the arguments against her. Daenerys, Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi, her names are all over the place, in ads and in merchandise, she’s an unforgettable character in the best sense possible.
Whew! Sorry, that turned into quite the response! 😅 Thank you for the ask Ethan! And welcome into the fandom! Jonerys for life! 🙌

I still don't understand people who are in denial about Jonerys. This is coming from so called hard core book fans. It's been foreshadowed not only in the books but the show[even more so] as well. And even through the media and merchandise it's been foreshadowed. The universe has been telling us Jonerys was happening for 2 decades now. Drogo, Ygritte, Val, Daario all red hearings for the true love story of this series.
Hey anon,
I’ve seen some of the deniers in the old book forums I use to frequent and I’m just as baffled as you. I get that they have issues with the show, if I was being picky I’d have some real issues with the show, although, I do have them I just let them slide for the most part and just try to enjoy the ride.
Having said that, the coming together of Jon and Dany is too important to be a show only creation. As you say, this has been foreshadowed in both books and show, this isn’t being created out of thin air. They can deny it all they want but this was always meant to be the direction the story was heading.
Let them live in their denial, it’s not going to change the truth.
